RACINE COUNTY -- A 22-year-old Muskego man faces multiple drug charges after a Racine County Sheriff's deputy caught him driving his car 95 miles per hour in Racine county.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Dominic Scaffidi near the area of Six-and-a-half mile road on I-94 northbound on Sunday afternoon.
Upon making the stop, the sheriff's deputy looked into the rear seating area of Scaffidi's car to find a set of brass knuckles. The deputy asked whether Scaffidi had a concealed carry permit, to which Scaffidi responded "I don't even know what it is," according to his criminal complaint.

The sheriff's deputy then took Scaffidi into custody for the brass knuckles and searched the vehicle, locating a variety of drug-related items, according to the criminal complaint.

A further inspection of the vehicle revealed a rubber container that contained marijuana "butter" or "wax" which is a cannabis extract or oil that concentrates the plant's chemical compounds. When the deputy removed the wax from the container it weighed 52.5 grams, which the deputy determined was far more than personal use, the complaint said.
When the deputy asked whether Scaffidi was selling the butter, he replied that it was a "spur of the moment buy, indicating he bought it in Chicago the previous night for $400." He also told the deputy he and a couple friends intended on "dispersing" it, his complaint read.
Scaffidi is currently being held in the Racine County Jail on a $500 cash bond. If convicted of the possession charge, Scaffidi could face up 18 months behind bars. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 9.
