Muskego Man Rescued from Heroin Overdose, But Now Faces a Judge
Familiar scenario plays out as an 18-year-old man is found unresponsive in his home, revived by paramedics and is now charged with possession of narcotics

A Muskego man has been charged with possession of narcotic drugs in Waukesha County Circuit Court after a brush with death at his home in September.
Dominic Garcia, 18, faces a maximum penalty of 3 ½ years in prison and fines of up to $10,000 if convicted.

Muskego Police were sent to Garcia’s home on Sept. 27 for a report of a possible drug overdose. Upon arriving, the report states they found him unconscious in the bathroom, but paramedics were able to revive him.
Police also found eight Alazopram pills and a syringe inside of a cigarette package where the defendant was found, according to the complaint. Additional pills identified as antibiotics were found in Garcia’s room.

He will make his initial appearance in court on May 20.
