Muskego Man Sentenced For Attempted Burglary

A 20-year-old Muskego resident will spend two years in prison for trying to break into a fast food restaurant and gas station in Waterford last summer, according to a story in the Journal Times.
Jacob Mayer was sentenced on Monday for attempted burglary and two counts of criminal damage to property.
Mayer's attorney Helmi Hamad told the juge that Mayer had been abusing drugs since he was 14-years-old and he needed to go into drug treatment. While this is Mayer's first adult conviction, he also has a criminal case pending in Waukesha County for burglary, drug possession and felony bail jumping charges, according to the Journal Times.
