New Berlin Man Accused of Setting Fire to 6 Buildings; Faces 78 Years
A 31-year-old New Berlin man has been charged with five counts of arson after he was arrested in connection with a fire reported May 26.

MUSKEGO, WI — A 31-year-old New Berlin man has been charged with five counts of arson after he was arrested in connection with a fire reported May 26 at the former Reynolds Machine Company.
According to Muskego police, responding officers located a suspect later identified as Adam Erickson, 31 years old, of New Berlin, in Park Arthur, which is adjacent to the Reynolds property. Erickson was taken into custody and returned to the Police Department For questioning.
Erickson was questioned by detectives from both the Muskego and New Berlin Police Departments. Erickson admitted to setting two buildings on the Reynolds property on May 26, as well as setting fire to a third building on the property on May 5. He also admitted to setting three fires in New Berlin.

On Tuesday, May 30, Erickson was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court with five counts of arson, all felonies. Cash bond for Erickson was set at $250,000.00.
A second suspect in the May 5 fire has been identified and is being sought by detectives.
