Northern Gear Breaks Ground on Muskego Facility
Northern Gear is eying the winter of 2014 for completion of a 96,000-square-foot building along Moorland Road.
A groundbreaking ceremony last week formally kicked off construction of Northern Gear's new Muskego facility.
The 96,000-square-foot facility will be built in the Commerce Center along Moorland Road. The plans, which included $825,000 in city incentives, were approved earlier this year.
According to a city news release, Northern Gear plans to move in sometime in the winter of 2014 and will employ about 90 people there. The company manufactures gears, shafts and machined parts such as valve blocks, spools and housings.
