Cherney, Marcia Ann (nee Cole)

Marcia passed away on October 14, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Cherney for 48 years. The family moved from Beloit WI to Muskego in 1969 where Marcia worked for more than 25 years with the Muskego Norway Schools, was a den mother for her sons, and a softball coach for her daughter.

Special friend of Bob Janke, Dear mother of Mike (Shanda), Deb (Mike) Kocher, Bobb (Jane), and John. Proud Grandma of Beth, Nicolette, and Zack Cherney; Kyle (Kim), Alex, Derek and Megan Kocher, and Erica, Jacob, Emily, Aaron, Matthew and Sarah Cherney.

Also survived by her sister, Jeanine Schmidt and other cherished relatives and friends. The family held a private viewing on October 20th at Peace of Mind Funeral Home, West Allis, WI. Marcia and Gerald will have a future interment at the VA Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Gerald was a US Marine in the Korean War.

The family will hold an informal gathering to remember the love and laughter she brought to this world. This will take place on Saturday November 4th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Muskego Urban Gathering Place at S66 W14444 Janesville Rd, (the former EJ Salentine site) in Muskego.
