Pellman Farm Condominium Plans Face Another Hurdle Tuesday Night
A developer's rezoning request for a 34-unit apartment complex planned for the Pellman farm property is up for consideration.

MUSKEGO -- On Tuesday evening, the Muskego plan commission will consider a developer's rezoning request for a 34-unit apartment complex planned for the Pellman farm property.
The developer's proposal is to build 34 ranch-style condominiums on the Pellman Farm property, approximately 11.4 acres along Woods Rd. just south of the Parkland Drive intersection.
The Muskego Plan Commission is recommending approval of a resolution granting the zoning request, "seeing that the proposed development meets the densities of the Comprehensive Plan, will has less burden on city services, should fit the neighborhood well, will have quality high end architecture" among other points.

According to a report from Muskego/New Berlin NOW last month, Cornerstone Development has asking the land to be rezoned from R-3 Suburban Residence to Planned Unit development zoning in order to meet the specifications of their development.
The proposal was met with neighborhood opposition early on, giving rise to a petition that now requires six of seven aldermen to approve its passage in order to move forward.

At the public hearing in September, petitioners brought forward their concerns regarding additional traffic, the development's water source, lake access and stormwater runoff.
Tuesday's plan commission meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Muskego City Hall.
