FBI agents were made aware of pornographic materials being downloaded at Marisch's home based on an online undercover operation. In December 2011, agents executed a search of the home and seized a laptop and desktop computer from the residence containing five pornographic videos featuring children aged 9 to about 12 years.

Marisch, 22, admitted to downloading the material, but said he only sporadically looked at the videos and that no one else in the home was aware of his activity. He told investigators that his interest in young girls began when we was about 14 years old, and that it continued as an adult, with him being attracted to girls 10 to 14 years of age.
Marisch will be sentenced on August 14.
