Police Blotter: ATV Falls Through Ice; Man Arrested After Shooting Deer; Cell Phone Theft

MUSKEGO — Muskego police had a busy week at the end of December, issuing 15 citations, 11 warnings and responding to numerous calls for service - some that turned out to be out of the ordinary.

Here are the notable police calls for Dec. 30 to Jan. 5 - as provided by the Muskego police department.

• December 30, 2016; 10:23am – A 25 year old Muskego resident received a traffic citation in the W13400 block of Fennimore Ln for having a revoked driver’s license.

• December 30, 2016; 1:29pm – Officers assisted the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Warden in locating an ATV that fell through the ice. The matter is being investigated by the warden.
• December 30, 2016; 3:00pm – A resident in the S6800 block of East Dr reported being the victim of ID Theft after someone attempted to open a credit card account in their name.
• December 30, 2016; 3:30pm – A 28 year old Big Bend resident was arrested in the S7800 block of Racine Ave for retail theft.
• December 30, 20165:33pm – 23 year old Hales Corners resident was arrested in the W14600 block of College Ave for an outstanding warrant. They also received a traffic citation for having a suspended driver’s license.
• December 30, 2016; 5:52pm – A resident in the W16600 block of Bridgeport Way reported hearing noises outside of his home. Officer checked the area but could not locate anything unusual.
• December 30, 2016; 6:21pm – A 75 year old Muskego resident received a traffic citation in the W21800 block of Janesville Rd for having a revoked driver’s license.
• December 30, 2016; 8:30pm – A 21 year old Muskego resident was arrested in the S6500 block of Hardtke Dr for a Probation & Parole violation and was transported to the Waukesha County Jail.
• December 30, 2016; 11:46pm – A 20 year old Milwaukee resident received a traffic citation in the W19700 block of College Ave for having a suspended driver’s license.
• December 31, 2016; 11:20am – A 25 year old Greenfield resident was arrested in the W15800 block of Aud Mar Dr for three outstanding warrants, drug related charges and for bail jumping. He was transported to the Waukesha County Jail.
• December 31, 2016; 1:10pm – A 47 year old Muskego resident was arrested in the W15800 block of Loomis Dr for discharging a weapon and shooting a deer.
• January 1, 2017; 12:06am – A 25 year old West Allis resident received a traffic citation in the W13200 block of STH 36 for having a suspended driver’s license.
• January 1, 2017; 10:26am – A resident in the S8500 block of Providence Way reported the theft of a cell phone. The matter is under investigation.
• December 5, 2017; 8:36pm – A 45 year old Milwaukee resident was arrested in Franklin, by the Franklin Police Department, for an outstanding Muskego warrant. They were unable to pay for the warrant and were transported to the Waukesha County Jail.
