Muskego Police Blotter: Retail Theft, Counterfeit Money Reported, Suspicious Person

MUSKEGO, WI — Muskego police had a busy week at the end of December, issuing 15 citations, 11 warnings and responding to numerous calls for service - some that turned out to be out of the ordinary.

Here are the notable police calls for Jan. 1 to Jan. 5 - as provided by the Muskego police department.

  • January 1, 2017; 5:16pm – Officers assisted the Franklin Police Department locating a vehicle involved in a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in Franklin. The vehicle was located in Muskego and the matter is under investigation by the Franklin Police Department.
  • January 2, 2017; 6:10am – A 29 year old Milwaukee resident was arrested in the S7600 block of Racine Ave for OWI #1 and two outstanding warrants.
  • January 2, 2017; 12:12pm – A complaint was received in the W18600 block of Muskego Dam Rd reference someone setting up a deer stand and baiting deer on public DNR land. The matter was turned over to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
  • January 2, 2017; 3:05pm – Two Muskego residents, 39 and a 49 years old, were arrested in the S6500 block of Moorland Rd for retail theft.
  • January 2, 2017; 7:11pm – A 79 year old Milwaukee resident was arrested in the W13800 block of Janesville Rd for an outstanding warrant. The warrant was paid and the subject was released.
  • January 4, 2017; 1:14am – A 47 year old Burlington resident received a traffic citation in the W12700 block of STH 36 for having a suspended driver’s license.
  • January 4, 2017; 9:40am – A 52 year old Iola resident was arrested by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department for 3 outstanding Muskego warrants. The subject was transported to the Waukesha County Jail.
  • January 4, 2017; 10:44am – A 55 year old Muskego resident received a traffic citation in the W14600 block of College Ave for having a revoked driver’s license.
  • January 4, 2017; 3:18pm – A business in the W16800 block of Janesville Rd reported receiving counterfeit money. The matter is under investigation.
  • January 4, 2017; 4:16pm – A 26 year old Milwaukee resident was arrested in Hales Corners, by the Hales Corners Police Department, for and outstanding Muskego warrant. The warrant was paid and the subject was released.
  • January 4, 2017; 9:55am – A 47 year old Muskego resident was arrested in the W12900 block of Cambridge Ct W for bail jumping. The subject was transported to the Waukesha County Jail.
  • January 5, 2017; 3:48pm – A gas theft was reported at Jetz Convenience Center, W15400 Janesville Rd, involving a brown or gold Lexus. The matter is under investigation.
  • January 5, 2017; 7:08pm – A 23 year old Milwaukee resident was arrested in Milwaukee, by the City of Milwaukee Police Department, for an outstanding Muskego warrant. The subject was transported to the Milwaukee County Jail.
  • January 5, 2017; 11:02pm – A resident in the S11000 block of Loomis Rd reported someone walking around the outside of his residence. Officer checked the area but could not locate anyone.
