Sendik's No Longer Part of Muskego Parkland Towne Center Plans
Muskego's Parkland Mall property received a setback this week after it was announced that Sendik's Food Market is no longer planned there.

MUSKEGO, WI -- Muskego's Parkland Mall property received a setback this week after it was announced that a Sendik's Food Market will no longer be planned for the site.
According to a Milwaukee Business Journal report, the Sendik's will no longer anchor the new Parkland Towne Center for "extenuating circumstances" beyond its control.
The mall in the heart of downtown Muskego, which has been vacant since 1998, will be redeveloped into a $34 million Parkland Towne Center, was said to include a new Sendik’s grocery store, 90 units of housing and 53,000 square feet of commercial space.

According to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report, Ener-Con Cos., which is developing the site, is continuing to market the former Sendik's site to other grocery stores.
The Journal Sentinel report indicates, however, that the project's first retail building - a 10,248 square foot building, is set to begin in May, and will include a Pizza Hut.
