Tess Corners Firefighters Continue Fill-the-Boot Campaign

Tess Corners firefighters will be at the corner of Janesville and Moorland from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 14, raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. 

Firefighters will be collecting donations from drivers as part of the Fill-the-Boot campaign for the MDA. They were also at the intersection June 7 and raised nearly $6,800 on that day—blasting past their goal of $1,500.

They're hoping for similar results Friday, Lt. Jeff Shelton said in an e-mail. 

"We'd like to convey our thanks to the citizens of Muskego and the surrounding communities for helping us achieve our goal so quickly," he said.
