Trio Charged in Theft of Nearly $2K in Electronics from Muskego Walmart
A November spree at the Muskego Walmart was caught on surveillance, with two of the stolen items being surveillance systems.

Three women have been charged with three counts each of felony retail theft after an incident in November 2012 at the Muskego Walmart.
According to the criminal complaint:
Amanda Ortiz, 27, Mayra Ortiz, 29, and Carolina Lechuga, 28, all from Milwaukee, were seen on video surveillance entering the Walmart on November 16, and one of them returned to their minivan shortly after. The remaining two women were observed, according to the complaint, putting a laptop computer, a desktop computer and two surveillance video systems into a shopping cart.

The trio had also been arrested for similar crimes elsewhere, according to the complaint, which allowed Muskego police to identifying them.
The report stated that the women then put a blanket over the top of the cart to conceal the items and walked out of the store to the waiting minivan. The total amount stolen was $1,954.

The three women face a maximum penalty of $30,000, 10 and a half years in prison or both if convicted of the crime. They will make their initial appearance in court on April 22.
