Warm Weather Brings out Muskego Vandals

It must be getting warmer, as the Muskego Police blotter includes thefts of outdoor yard equipment and after-hours vandalism.

Muskego residents must be starting to do their yard work with the seeming arrival of real spring weather, but it's prompting a little tempation to take anything left outside, as this week's crime blotter from the Muskego Police Department indicates:

Friday, May 3 -

  • A Muskego resident reported items being stolen from their driveway while moving in the W19600 block of Maple Court. 
  • A property owner reported a light fixture and a window were broken on their garage sometime between April 9 and May 3. This occurred in the S6800 block of Bluegrass Lane. 
  • A Muskego resident reported being a victim of identity theft in the W13100 block of Courtland Lane. 
  • A 19-year-old Muskego man was arrested for operating after revocation at the intersection of Janesville Road and Pioneer Drive. 


Saturday, May 4

•Several residents reported ding dong ditching in the S8400 block of Bendingbrae Drive. The individuals were spotted by late shift officers, however, they were able to run off into the night without apprehension. 

•A traffic stop at the intersection of Racine Ave/Tans Drive. resulted in a 19-year-old Franklin woman being cited for underage drinking. This subject was a passenger in the vehicle. 

•A 51-year-old  Muskego man was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at the intersection of Janesville Road/Lannon Drive. 

Sunday, May 5 –

  • A 19-year-old Whitewater man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. His friend was also arrested for bail jumping. These two individuals were stopped in the parking lot of Walmart. 
  • A resident reported their log splitter being stolen from their property in the S6900 block of Shady Lane. 


Monday, May 6 - A resident reported a hedge trimmer was stolen from their garage in the S7700 block of Ancient Oaks Drive.
