4th Of July: What's Open, Closed In New Berlin
Some government offices and services may be closed for the holiday.
NEW BERLIN, WI — Many government services change their hours or close during holidays. Here's what will be open and closed in New Berlin on the Fourth of July.
Government Offices: All city government buildings will be closed Monday. They will reopen on 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Courts: The New Berlin Municipal Court will be closed Monday. People who need to pay for citations can still pay online, the city told Patch.

Libraries: The New Berlin Public Library will be closed Monday. It will reopen Tuesday.
Parks: All parks will operate at normal hours this holiday, except for Malone Park. Malone Park will be the host of New Berlin's Fourth of July Festival which is open Friday to Sunday.

Here are the festival hours:
- Friday: 5-10 p.m.
- Saturday: Noon to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon to 11 p.m.
Trash And Recycling: Trash pickups will still happen on Monday, the city said. The recycling center will be closed Saturday.
Buses: Waukesha Metro buses won't operate Sunday, but they will operate on Monday, Metro officials told Patch.
Post Offices: The city post office will be closed Monday. It will reopen Tuesday.
