'Concerts At City Center' Announced At New Berlin Public Library
Artists will play genres such as contemporary jazz, blues and Carribean.
NEW BERLIN — A local concert series is returning to New Berlin's public library in July.
"Concerts At City Center" will return to the New Berlin Public Library (15105 West Library Lane) on July 14. The series will play Wednesday evenings through the middle of August.
Vivo, a contemporary jazz band based in Milwaukee, will play the first show. Its members have won Wisconsin area music industry awards and it has released two recordings since 2011. Following them are blues group Leroy Airmaster and songwriter Paul Cebar.

Here's the lineup so far, according to the city:
- July 14: Vivo
- July 28: Leroy Airmaster
- Aug. 11: Paul Cebar
Artists will play from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on show nights. Before that, there will be a pre-concert story time with Miss Brenda at 6 p.m. Friends of the New Berlin Library will provide yard games and refreshments from 6-8 p.m.

The city said that visitors should feel free to bring their own food and beverages. It added that lawn chairs and blankets are advised as well. The series is free and open to the public.
