Multiple Reports Of Cars Being Entered Into In New Berlin

​New Berlin Police responded to over a dozen reports of entries from Saturday to Monday. Many of the cars were left unlocked.

NEW BERLIN, WI—New Berlin Police responded to over a dozen reports of cars being entered into — many of them unlocked — between Saturday and Monday.

Below are the reports from the police log:

At 6:45 p.m. on Monday in the 15000 block of West Mayflower Drive, a resident reported that someone entered an unlocked car. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

At 7:51 a.m. also in the in the 15000 block of West Mayflower Drive, a resident reported that someone entered two unlocked cars. An iPod was stolen.

At 6 p.m. Sunday in the 14200 block of West Lincoln Avenue, a resident reported someone entered his unlocked car and stole money along with a credit card, according to the police log.

On Saturday, four entries into cars were reported.

At 11:15 a.m. in the 14000 block of West Meadowmere Drive, a resident reported someone entered an unlocked car in the driveway and stole money from the car.

At 9:30 a.m., in the 14000 block of West Lilac Lane, a resident reported someone walked up her driveway and tried to open the passenger doors on the cars parked in the driveway, the log said.

At 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, a person entered an unlocked car in the 1400 South Meadowmere Parkway. A wallet was stolen.

At 1:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Lilac Lane, a person entered a car and stole money and change. It wasn't indicated if the car was left unlocked, according to the police log.

On Friday, the following was reported:

At 10:45 a.m., two cars were entered in the 1400 block of South Westbrooke Parkway. Nothing was taken.

Also at 10:45 a.m. in the 21500 block of West Valley Drive, a resident reported someone entered her car but nothing was taken.

At 10:30 a.m., two unlocked cars were entered into in the 20400 block of West Downie Road. The resident reported change was taken.

At 9:30 a.m., in the 1400 block of South Green Hill Road, a person entered two cars. A purse was stolen that was later found and an unknown amount of cash was missing.

At 8:30 a.m., in the 1400 block of South Green Hill Road, someone entered an unlocked car from which personal items along with a credit card were stolen.

At 8 a.m., in the 1600 block of South Laurie Lane, a person entered an unlocked car. Nothing was reported stolen, according to the police log.
