"It really means a lot to us as a club and the community, because we had a lot of feedback from long-time customers of ours. They really missed the opportunity to buy these flowers," Rodgers said.

About the club
Junior Woman's Club is a civic service organization that fosters volunteerism among women in the city. Members gather together and pool their efforts to provide community service, fundraising and social outings to the local area.
Rodgers has been a member of the NBJWC since 2007. She told Patch it provides a wonderful opportunity for women who would otherwise not know each other to work together for common causes.
"It's a really good mixture of women from all over New Berlin who do very good work," Rodgers said.
The organization focuses on community service through events such as the Easter egg hunt which collects food for the New Berlin Food Pantry. Members also organize the 4th of July mini-parade for kids to decorate their bikes and give out goodie bags.
Rodgers said more events are being planned as people regain some normalcy amid the pandemic.
