Partial intersection closures due to utility relocations are expected prior to the project. The work will include; widening of the intersection to include a through, left, and right turn lane on each approach, traffic signals, a pedestrian path on the west side of Sunny Slope Road from Nicolet Drive to Grange Avenue, and creating a right-out only access to the Grange Avenue Frontage Road. The intersection will be closed to traffic throughout the project.

2021 Roadway Rehabilitation

In 2021 the City will be resurfacing over 5 miles of roadway. Also included in this project is the resurfacing of three municipal parking lots or driveways. This project is expected to start in late April, and is expected to be completed by late September. Work in any particular area of the project will most likely not span this entire time, and an area-specific schedule will be posted as it becomes available. The roadways within this project will remain open to local traffic at all times, but may be closed to through traffic.
