Police said although they didn’t receive one report of theft of a vehicle and/or theft from a vehicle in February, on Thursday morning, they did receive one report of a vehicle theft and one report of theft from a vehicle.
"These two incidents are just the tip of the iceberg as the Milwaukee Metro Area recently experienced numerous similar incidents. We cannot emphasize it enough, please help reduce an offender’s opportunity to victimize you by not leaving your vehicle unattended and unsecured containing keys/key fobs, guns, valuables, money or anything else that you do not want stolen. As always, if you observe any suspicious activity, please immediately report such activity to the police department," the post said.
