New Berlin Police Warn Residents About Leaving Cars Unlocked

Police responded to several reports of entry into unlocked vehicles.

NEW BERLIN, WI— New Berlin Police Department is warning residents to lock their car doors after several thefts, according to the police Facebook page. Over the past few days residents have reported unlocked vehicles had been entered and rummaged through.

"In some of the incidents, nothing was taken; however, some citizens reported property loss. It appears several of these incidents occurred in the early morning hours," the post said.

Police are encouraging residents to remove valuables from cars and lock the doors.
