No Injuries After New Berlin Police Chase Ends In Crash
A driver led New Berlin police on a chase across lawns, rammed a squad car before crashing in Muskego after a traffic stop.
NEW BERLIN, WI — A driver led officers from the New Berlin Police Department on a two-mile chase Tuesday that ended in a crash after a traffic stop.
The driver took off while officers were trying to give them a sobriety test, police said. The person drove through multiple lawns and rammed a squad car at one point, causing substantial damage to the front end of the police car, police said.
The chase ended in a crash in Park Arthur in Muskego. The driver was taken into custody and no police officers were injured in the pursuit, police said.

The person taken into custody already had warrants for their arrest; one for a felony possession of a firearm and another for misdemeanor battery.
The police department encouraged residents to reach out at 262-782-6640 if their property was damaged as a result of the chase.
