Several Reports of Yard Signs Stolen In New Berlin

In some cases, signs were destroyed in New Berlin.

NEW BERLIN,WI—New Berlin residents reported several cases of yard sign thefts towards the end of August.

On Aug. 28, a resident reported six signs stolen from her yard in the 2400 block of South Monterey Drive, according to a police log.

On Aug. 24 a resident reported the second incident of a sign being stolen in the 13400 block of West Wembly Drive. Also on the same day, a resident in the 14200 block of West College Avenue told police there was criminal damage to a yard sign.

On Aug. 20, a resident on South Calhoun and West Lincoln Avenue told police a person destroyed a yard sign. On Aug. 19, in the 3400 block of South Glen Park Road, two yard signs were stolen.

The description of the signs was not indicated in the call logs.
