19-Year-Old Cedarburg Man Found Dead in Port Washington
Police say the death is not suspicious and the investigation does not appear to be criminal in nature.

PORT WASHINGTON, WI — A 19-year-old Cedarburg man was found deceased in a Port Washington park on Monday as authorities investigate.
On Tuesday August 1, just before 12:30 p.m., the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Sauk Creek Nature Preserve located at 3236 CTH KK in the Town of Port Washington for a report of an unresponsive adult male that was found in the park.
The park was closed until approximately 3:00 pm as a death investigation was being conducted. The deceased was identified as a 19-year- old male subject from the City of Cedarburg.

The death is not suspicious and the investigation does not appear to be criminal in nature. At no time were members of the community in danger.
The investigation is ongoing pending the results of an autopsy and toxicology. The Ozaukee County Coroner’s Office, Port Washington Police Department, and the Port Washington Fire Department assisted at the scene.
