29-Year-Old Who Died In Snowmobile Accident Identified

Deputies responded just before noon to a single snowmobile crash that happened on the Milwaukee River.

FREDONIA, WI — Authorities say a 29-year-old Port Washington man has died after a snowmobile accident in the Town of Fredonia.

The operator of the snowmobile has been identified by Ozaukee County officials as Daniel Dickmann. Patch.com has reached out to sheriff's officials to learn more about this accident.

According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's office, on Wednesday, Jan. 17, deputies responded just before midnight to a single snowmobile crash that happened on the Milwaukee River.

Officials say a 29 year old City of Port Washington man died as a result of injuries sustained in the
crash. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is assisting with the investigation.

Sheriff's officials say the name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
