Beautiful Port Washington: Local Photographer Falls in Love
Christy Fischer is turning her love of photography into something more than just a hobby - check out some of her images of Port Washington.

PORT WASHINGTON, WI — Christy Fischer, a mother of three who manages a local grocery store, and a part-time nursing student, has brought light to this world with her photography hobby, and has captured two lovely images of Port Washington that she wanted to share.
"I started photography a few years ago and it has become something I am truly passionate about. There’s so much beauty in the world and I love being able to capture it and share it with others," she said. "So far I am self taught, but hoping to be able to add in a few photography classes. Opening a studio part time is also on my list for the near future."

She said her love for the area prompted her to make such wonderful images.

"My husband and I had stopped in Port Washington not too long ago. As we were driving through I fell absolutely in love with it there and couldn’t wait to go back. So, my husband surprised me with a trip back this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The weather was rainy most of the weekend. However, I awoke at 5am Saturday morning and looked outside over the marina and saw an incredible sunrise beginning. So I grabbed my camera and went out and was able to capture it. What a beautiful city Port Washington is and we will definitely be back again to visit soon."
Her photos can be found on Facebook at C Fischer Photos.
