Call System Helps Find Missing 6-Year-Old Girl
When 6-year-old Gracie Kapitz went missing on June 13, police used a high-tech reverse-911 alert system to bring her home safely.

A reverse-911 alert system helped quell a frantic mother's worries and bring about a happy ending last week in the search for a missing 6-year-old girl, the Ozaukee Press reports.
On June 13, a worried Angie Kapitz phoned police after her daughter Gracie went missing from their Saukville home.Â
Officers visited some 60 homes door-to-door, but then deployed the MyState USA reverse-911 alert system, which sent out automated messages to some 1,200 phones within a one-mile radius of where Gracie was last seen, the Press reports.Â
