Is Preschool a Positive Experience for Kids?
Six years after Port Washington-Saukville School District launched a 4-year-old preschool program, officials say they see positive results in the kids. What's your take?

Port Washington-Saukville School District officials say they are seeing positive results for students now able to take advantage of the 4-year-old preschool program available in the district.
The district added preschool six years ago, and Dunwiddie Elementary Prinicipal Diane Johnson said the program has helped kids better react to their first day of kindergarten, according to an Ozaukee Press article. Exposure to the classroom environment in preschool has also helped kindergarten teachers be able to focus more time on academics rather than sharing and getting along.
Not all districts in Ozaukee County offer preschool, such as Grafton School District, the article said, though they are considering it.
