Let's Dance & Lip Sync Fundraiser

Imagine going way, way, way out of your comfort zone by learning a dance or a lip sync routine and then performing in front of your “fans” (your friends, family and co-workers). And then, asking them to vote for you during the competition so you could raise the most in support of the Volunteer Center. On November 11, 2016, the Let’s Dance & Lip Sync event will be held at Shully's Watermark and features these brave souls who have agreed to dance for us to raise awareness and financial support to promote community volunteering.

We ask for you to support us as we support the community. The Volunteer Center serves as the volunteer matchmaker in Ozaukee County. We work with the community and more than 70 community agencies to recruit and engage people in volunteering. We believe everyone benefits from volunteering: the volunteer, the person they serve and the community as a whole. This fundraiser’s success helps the Volunteer Center raise awareness of the community’s needs and encourage volunteerism as a solution to solve community issues. There’s no better way to celebrate all things volunteering then to join us at our event.

All in great fun … the audience bids on silent auction items while sampling great food made by Shully's and Larry’s Market. Also featured are wine tasting, free beer and a dessert bar. At the event, two group dance lessons are provided by Fred Astaire and after the competition …more dancing. Hurry and go to volunteercenterevents.org and make your reservation.
