Man, 18, Shot In Chest In Attempted Carjacking: Police

The suspects ran from the scene, and the 18-year-old was airlifted to a Milwaukee hospital with serious injuries.

PORT WASHINGTON, WI —Authorities in Port Washington are investigating an attempted carjacking in which the 18-year-old driver of a car was shot in the chest late Sunday.

According to a Fox 6 report, at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old Port Washington manwas sitting in his car when two men tried forcing him from his vehicle. When he refused, he was shot at several times, with one bullet striking him in the chest, police said.

The report stated that the suspects ran from the scene, and the 18-year-old was airlifted to a Milwaukee hospital with serious injuries.

According to the Port Washington Police Department, the suspects are described as two black males in their late teens to early 20’s.

The first suspect is described as thin build, approximately 5-feet-eight-inches tall, wearing a gray colored hoodie, armed with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun, possibly with an extended magazine.

The second suspect is described as being taller than his accomplice and wearing a black colored hoodie.

Both suspects are at large, police say.
