Mark Wildermuth, Fredonia Resident, Joins Liberty Mutual

Fredonia, Wis. – Mark Wildermuth, a Fredonia resident with more than two decades’ experience in insurance and financial services, has joined the Milwaukee office of Liberty Mutual Insurance as a sales representative.

Wildermuth’s new role with Liberty Mutual will focus on personal lines insurance (auto, home, condominium, renters, motorcycle, ATV and life) and coverage for small businesses in fields such as construction, health care, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, technology and service occupations. He most recently served as an area account manager for Sentry Insurance.

“I’m thrilled to join Liberty Mutual, which is a financially strong mutual insurer with a global presence,” Wildermuth said. “We offer a range of innovative products that address clients’ real-world needs and wants, such as Better Car Replacement, Accident Forgiveness and pet insurance. We can even contract with other carriers to shop the market for additional options, if insuring with Liberty Mutual is not the best fit for a client.”

Wildermuth recently gained designation as a Certified Insurance Service Representative, a nationally-recognized certification earned through a rigorous schedule of courses and exams. The program represents the highest level of professional insurance education, one utilized by insurance professionals who want to deliver the absolute best service possible.

“I especially enjoy working with people who want the guidance of an experienced agent, often after becoming frustrated trying to navigate the online insurance market,” Wildermuth said. “My clients tell me they appreciate that I actually return phone calls. I admit I’m ‘kind of odd that way.’”

Prior to starting his insurance industry career in 2001, Wildermuth worked nine years in banking in the Milwaukee area, including a role as Assistant Vice-President and Branch Manager with one institution. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
