Open Days Program Garden Tour - Sheboygan

July 23: self-guided tours of a private farm and garden, open to benefit the Garden Conservancy.

On July 23, explore the private gardens at Christopher Farm & Gardens, W580 Garton Road, Sheboygan, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations required; rain or shine. The Christopher Farm & Gardens has transformed from a horse farm to a fifty-plus acre groomed garden drained by a complex swale system that creates an ideal environment for plants, trees, and shrubs to flourish. Thousands of plants, shrubs, and tree species sprawl the grounds; some specifically selected for the many specialized gardens nestled throughout the property, including: Specialty Conifer Garden, Peony Garden, Children’s Educational Farm, Asian Water Garden, Fruit Orchards and Vegetable Gardens, Natural Prairie, and Greenhouses featuring a cacti and orchid displays, living walls, tropical plants, a koi pond and many other interesting and unusual plants.
