PORT WASHINGTON, WI – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Port Washington, so you can start planning now.

Weather
Independence Day

Thursday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind around 5 miles per hour.
Annual Parade
Where: The route will begin on the corner of W. Grand Ave. and N. Wisconsin St. and head east toward N. Franklin St., head north on Franklin, east on E. Washington and north on N. Lake St. to end in Veteran’s Memorial Park. Bike judging will take place following the parade in front of the band shell. Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each category.
When: The 2019 parade begins at 10 a.m.
Community Picnic
The Port Washington Community Picnic will be held at Veteran's Memorial Park following the parade. There will be live music by The Verdict from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. band shell. Food, beverages, bounce houses, cake and ice cream, bike judging contest, raffle baskets and more. Bring your family and friends to this wonderful afternoon picnic.
Pirates Hollow Waterpark
Members of the public are invited to head over to Pirates’ Hollow Waterpark for some 4th of July fun in the sun from 1 p.m.to 4 p.m. The pool will be having a Biggest Splash Contest and Family Relay Race at 3 p.m.
Fireworks Display
Where: Firework display at dusk from Coal Dock Park, 146 S. Wisconsin St.
When: Fireworks will begin at dusk, approximately 9:15 p.m.
