Sweetheart Cakes Set to Move Downtown
The bakery will be a first floor tenant at the Boerner Building.
Sweetheart Cakes plans to be among the tenants at the Boerner building currently under construction in Port's downtown.
The bakery is moving from its Grand Avenue location to a first-floor in the Boerner building, formerly the Lueptow building, according to an article on the Ozaukee Press. The bakery plans to continue its focus on decorative and specialty cakes, but will also increase its menu to include lunch items, such as sandwiches.
Construction on the Boerner project is still underway and Sweetheart Cakes does not know exactly when it will be able to make the move, the article said.
