Volunteer Center Holiday Program
Help those in need in your community have a happy holiday!

“This is the best Christmas my family has ever had. I once again believe that things will be ok.” - Volunteer Center Holiday Program recipient
Volunteer Center of Ozaukee County raises the awareness of community needs and provides the resources to connect community members to ways to serve. We are the Ozaukee County volunteer matchmaker, matching over 4,000 people per year with ways to volunteer. Our Holiday Program is the perfect example of how the Volunteer Center matches individuals, schools, businesses and faith-based organizations with community members’ needs.
Through our Holiday Program, we match clients who are at or below poverty line with community volunteers. We ask the community to fulfill their adopted family’s needs with items such as gifts for children, food for the holidays, gifts for seniors and clothes. In 2015, our Holiday Program generated $60,575 worth of donated items from 2,422 volunteers that served 200 seniors, 262 families, 560 children and 20 community agencies.
