18-Year-Old Sussex Resident Busted for Running Drug House Pleads Not Guilty
An 18-year-old Sussex resident faces multiple drug charges after police conducted three undercover buys from the man in Sussex.

SUSSEX, WI — An 18-year-old Sussex resident who faces multiple drug charges after police conducted three undercover buys from the man in Sussex has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and has been bound over for trial in Waukesha County circuit court.
Robert Modl faces multiple drug charges and could face up to 27 years behind bars on the seven felony counts against him. He posted the $5,000 cash bond on Nov. 1.
September 6: A confidential informant indicated they could purchase 20 tabs of LSD from Modl. The transaction took place at the Boneyard Pub and Grill located at N64 W23180 Main St. in Sussex. Twenty tabs of LSD were exchanged for $300.

September 8: An informant indicated they could purchase 25 tabs of LSD from Modl also at the Boneyard Pub and Grill. The 25 tabs of acid were exchanged for $350.
October 12: An informant indicated they could purchase 18 tabs of LSD along with a quarter-ounce of marijuana wax from Modl for a combined $445 at his residence on Maris Drive in Sussex. Eighteen tabs of LSD and 8.7 grams of marijuana wax were recorded during the exchange.

Authorities obtained a search warrant for Modl's residence, and on Oct. 27, authorities conducted the search. Officers found 144 tabs of LSD weighing approximately 3.49 grams. They also found 7.5 pills of Alprazolam in addition to drug paraphernalia.
Modl faces three counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, three counts of manufacturing or delivering LSD, one count of manufacturing or delivering THC, one count of possession with intent to deliver LSD as well as misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernlia.
