Benefit Concert to Support and Uplift Peace Lutheran Academy
Steel guitarist Mark Wayne will provide a benefit concert of American gospel music in collaboration with Peace Lutheran, Sussex on Feb. 19.
Hear an uplifting evening of American gospel music as steel guitarist Mark Wayne collaborates with the Rev. Peter Bender of Peace Lutheran Church and Academy, W240 N6145 Maple Ave., Sussex in a concert to support Peace Lutheran Academy on Friday, February 19, 5-7:30 pm. The freewill donation benefit will be held during Peace’s monthly fish fry, served from 4:30-7 pm, with meals ranging from $4-$10. Along with all donations from the concert, proceeds from the fish fry support Peace Lutheran Academy.
Mark Wayne has performed gospel and pop steel guitar shows across the Midwest in a variety of venues and has played on nationally and internationally broadcast albums with many artists. Pastor Bender will join in singing American gospel favorites along with hosting this family-friendly event suitable for all ages.
