Consider a Donation to Sussex Outreach Services
Summer is often a period of reduced donations to the food pantry, which can lead to shortages on the shelves for those in need.
Summer is often a difficult time for food pantries around the area. As people vacation, school food drives hit the offseason, and major holidays are yet to come, the shelves can become quite bare at Sussex Outreach Services.
If you have a bit of time Tuesday, consider swinging by the SOS Food Pantry to drop of goods from 9 a.m. to noon at N63W23626 Silver Spring Dr.
Here are some items that are currently in highest demand:
- Rice Sides
- Boxed Potatoes
- Ravioli, Macaroni and Cheese, Manwich, Hamburger Helper, etc.
- Ramen Noodles
- Cans of Tuna and Chicken
- Baby Formula-Soy and Milk Based
