What you need to know to cast your vote in person ahead of Tuesday, November 8.

SUSSEX, WIS -- Just about every major candidate out there is angling to secure your vote as quickly as possible ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 8 general election.
And it seems like just about every one of them wants you to vote early. You may get an e-mail or see an ad in the newspaper or online urging you to vote early.
You may even want to vote early, but the people urging you to do it typically leave out one important detail: how to do it.

Early voting varies by municipality in Wisconsin, and after researching Patch.com communities, we've found that each one does it in a slightly different way. So we checked it out for Sussex and found out how to do it.

In-office absentee voting runs on weekdays for two weeks before an election. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am–5 pm.
No absentee voting or voter registration is permitted on the Monday before an election.
In-office absentee voting for the November General Election will take place at the Sussex Civic Center, N64W23760 Main Street, October 24 - November 4, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
