Hamilton is Giving Students a “Reality Check” on Life
The school will host a financial literacy simulation to prepare students for economic decisions.

Hamilton High School will hold its third annual “Reality Check” financial literacy simulation.
The simulation prepares students for economic decisions they will one day face. Students will receive a “life status” card that gives them details about their career, marital-family status and salary. They must visit stations and make essential life decisions about how to pay for housing, insurance, utilities, food and childcare.
Business representatives, community members and school staff volunteer to work the stations, giving students options based on their the information on their life status.
