Mammoth Springs Booms Go Bust, But Only For a Week
The company that was set to begin blasting away at the rock foundation delayed the work a week.
If you were bracing for the "boom" from Mammoth Springs blasting, let go of the chair for a few days.
Originally slated to begin work Monday, the Falcon Blasting and Drilling notified the village by email that blasting would not start until next week, said Assistant Village Administrator Melissa Weiss.
The work at the corner of Main Street and Waukesha Avenue will get at the rocky foundation of the site so building can begin.
