Men Behind the Mission recognizes Waukesha County men empowering girls and women

Deadline for nominations is October 1

Men Behind the Mission is a fundraiser and awards luncheon hosted by Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast on Wednesday, November 4 at Milwaukee Marriot West (W231N1600 Corporate Court, Waukesha) at noon. This event will honor the many men in Waukesha County who empower girls and women with leadership roles.

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast is currently accepting applications for nominees who live or work in Waukesha County—the men do not need to be affiliated with Girl Scouts. Awardees will be recognized in three categories: advocate, institutional supporter, and Girl Scout Family. Nominees can range from corporations and civic organizations to dads and grandpas.

The deadline for nominations is October 1. Nominators must submit a nomination form and one letter of endorsement. The form and additional details can be found at gswise.org.

Tickets for the luncheon can be reserved online or by emailing mfobair@gswise.org. Tickets are $30 each. Table sponsorships are also available.

All event proceeds will support the leadership journeys of girls in Waukesha County.
