Obituary: Dale Paul Destrampe
Dale was a family man and his greatest pleasure in life was being with his wife, children and grandchildren.

September 26, 1938 - December 16, 2012
Dale Paul “Tadpole” Destrampe of Menomonee Falls, found peace while surrounded by family on December 16, 2012, at the age of 74 after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. Beloved husband of Darlene (nee Couillard) Destrampe. Dear father of Kevin (Lori) Destrampe, Renée (Brian Borkin) Destrampe, Nicole (Zach) Ongwijitwat. Proud grandfather of Adam, Jacob, Kyra, Noah, Ari, Elise and Audrey. Dearest brother of Robert (Delores) Destrampe, Edwidge (Lloyd) Stuve, Estelle Laru, Garnet Destrampe, James (Patricia) Destrampe. Fond brother-in-law to Penny Couillard and Jim Couillard. Further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and canine buddy Zoe.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Rene and Mary Destrampe and sister Aurilee Smith.

Dale was a family man and his greatest pleasure in life was being with his wife, children and grandchildren. Born in Chassell, MI on September 26, 1938. He was a member of the 1957 high school state champion basketball team. He attended Michigan Tech and moved to Milwaukee in 1959. In 1965, he met the love of his life and soul mate, Darlene (Couillard) to whom he was married for 45 years. He worked as a fleet mechanic at Pepsi-Cola for over 20 years. He enjoyed car racing, camping and fishing. Dale was a member of the Sussex United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, December 21 with a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Sussex United Methodist Church, N63W23523 Main St., Sussex.
If desired, memorials can be made in Dale’s name to the Sussex United Methodist Church.
