Over a Dozen Hamilton Students Taking Classes at Area Colleges

Fourteen Hamilton High School students will be able to take college courses if they have completed the 10th grade.

A number of Hamilton High School students will be participating in the Youth Options Program that will give them the chance to take classes next fall at local colleges.

Fourteen students were approved to classes at Waukesha County Technical College, University of Wisconsin (UW)-Waukesha, UW-Milwaukee, Marquette University or Carroll University, according the Hamilton School District website.

The program mandated by the state allows students who have completed 10th grade, are in good academic standing and have no disciplinary problems to attend a technical college or university if they have exhausted their high school curriculum.
