Suspected Heroin Dealer Caught Doing Business Near Denny's
Police arranged three deals for heroin, and each time their suspect delivered - in the parking lot at Denny's

WAUKESHA -- A suspected heroin dealer has been charged in court after police say the Milwaukee man staged three transactions in the parking lot of Denny's on N. Grandview Blvd. in Waukesha.
Patrick E. Shackles, 27, has been charged with three counts of manufacturing and delivering heroin and one charge of maintaining a drug trafficking place stemming from three incidents on September 4, 17, and October 2 2015, according to his criminal complaint.
If convicted, Shackles faces up to 41 years imprisonment and could face additional time as a repeat offender, according to court documents. He is currently in custody according to court records.

The Incidents
According to Shackles' criminal complaint, a Waukesha police detective made arrangements through a confidential informant to buy two grams of heroin for $300 from Shackles on September 4. About two weeks later on September 17, the detective made a second transaction with Shackles through a confidential informant, this time for 2.1 grams of heroin for $450.

Police say on October 2, using the same approach, Shackles sold 1.6 grams of heroin for $300 at the same location.
Shackles was reportedly taken into custody on October 22, stating he was a current heroin user and that he orchestrated deals in order to "party" with the person so he could use the drugs for free, the complaint said.
