Weather

Independence Day

A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming south around 5 miles per hour in the morning.

Thursday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind around 5 miles per hour becoming calm.

Kiddie Parade

The 2019 Sussex Kiddie Parade begins at the Sussex Civic Center, N64 W23760 Main St. and ends at Sussex Village Park, W244 N6125 Weaver Drive.

9:15 a.m.: Line-up for the Kiddie Parade in the parking lot at the Sussex Civic Center.

9:30 a.m.: The Kiddie Parade will march west on Main Street to Sussex Village Park.

10 a.m. Children's games, crafts, face painting and ice cream at Village Park.

When: 9:20 p.m. Thursday, July 4.
