SUSSEX -- Sussex celebrates Independence Day in style, with a parade, and a fireworks display in the evening. Here are the details to help you plan your Fourth accordingly.
Monday, July 4
9:15 a.m. Kiddie Parade - line up in the Maple Avenue School parking lot.
9:30 a.m. Parade participants march north on Maple Avenue to Main Street and west on Main Street to Sussex Village Park.
Bike decorating kits will be available at North Shore Bank. Participating children will enjoy ice cream, games and crafts upon arrival at the Village park.
10 a.m. Games
9:20 p.m. Fireworks display at the Sussex Village Park by the Bartolotta Group.
