Sussex Lions Club Donates to Make-A-Wish and Local Schools
The Sussex Lions Club and and Sussex Leo Club proudly provided over $5000 in donations to Make-a-Wish and local schools recently.

Sussex, WI - The Sussex Lions Club and and Sussex Leo Club proudly provided over $5000 in donations to the Wisconsin Make-a-Wish foundation and two local schools recently.
Marcy Elementary School in Menomonee Falls and Willow Springs School in Sussex each received $2000 to purchase new playground equipment. Sussex Lions Club President Bob Swanson presented Bridget Jimmerson, Early Childhood Special Educator from Marcy Elementary, with a check during this year’s Lions Daze celebration.
“The Sussex Lions Club has a rich history of supporting local schools and youth. We are happy to support the improvement of local playgrounds and Make-A-Wish to benefit for area children and their families.” said Swanson.

President Emily Smith presented a $600 donation from the Sussex Leo Club and Swanson presented a $1250 donation from the Sussex Lions Club to Waukesha County Sheriff Michelle Larsuel on behalf of Make-A-Wish at this year’s Lions Daze festival as well. The Waukesha Deputy Sheriff's Association has been a long-time supporter of Make-a-Wish and holds an annual picnic in September in support of this cause.
