Sussex Teen Receives U.S. Youth Soccer Scholarship
Tyler Wischnefski was recipient of the fifth annual U.S. Youth Soccer William J. "Billy" Goaziou Scholarship for his involvement with the sport at the community.

A Sussex soccer player recently received a prestigious national scholarship award.
U.S. Youth Soccer player Tyler Wischnefski was recipient of the fifth annual U.S. Youth Soccer William J. "Billy" Goaziou Scholarship. Wischnefski plays a key role on his soccer team as well as in the community.
The scholarships are awarded for post-secondary education, and one male and female recipient receive the honor each year. The two $1,000 scholarships are awarded based on community service, giving back to the game of soccer and to honor the memory of William J. "Billy" Goaziou for his outstanding services for soccer in the United State.
Wischnefski is involved in soccer as a player, coach and referee. He plays for Milwaukee Sport Club, of Wisconsin Youth Soccer, and received an All-Conference Honorable Mention for his play on the Hamilton High School team.

Wischnefski also volunteered as a youth coach for two years and began working as a referee in January 2011. Academically, he’s been on the Dean’s List each year and is a member of the National Honor Society and several clubs. Wischnefski has been very involved with his church, and he acted as the coordinator of the collection and distribution of all donations in addition to volunteering at several shelters.
Wischnefski will play at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the fall.
