Monday night will see storms in the area, followed by clear skies through much of the week.

SUSSEX, WI — Monday night in Sussex will see thunderstorms with the possibility of heavy storm conditions, including hail.

The storms are expected to clear up by Tuesday afternoon, yielding to clear skies through most of the week. Wednesday and Thursday may see rain, but chances of precipitation will stay under 30 percent.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and 1pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 72. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. North wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers before 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Northeast wind around 5 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
